DIGI-Rangeland is a four-year transdisciplinary research project aiming to enhance digital innovation in rangeland livestock farming systems. In response to the challenges threatening the viability of these systems, the project establishes an innovative network focused on digital technologies and data-driven solutions for farmers and land users in rangeland areas. Using a multi-actor approach across 10 countries, DIGI-Rangeland facilitates knowledge sharing among EU stakeholders and fosters collaboration on digital innovation. By identifying practitioners’ needs and barriers, the project will assess and promote effective digital solutions to ensure the resilience and sustainability of rangeland livestock farming systems across Europe.
